Sports associations in Jena

With 136 sports associations and 23,000 club members, the city of Jena is at the forefront of organised sport in Thuringia.

Other more competitive clubs include the Turn- und Sportverein Jena (Gymnastics and Sports Club), with athletics, wrestling, judo and basketball.
